Providing Approved Inspector services for exciting new Luxe Fitness site in iconic Bristol City Centre building, Beacon Tower
Following on from a successful working relationship with Design Storey Architects on the transformation of the former Bedminster Library building into a luxurious and unique gym, we have been appointed to provide Building Control services from an early stage on Luxe Fitness’s next project within an iconic building in Bristol City Centre.
The new fitness club will be fitting out the currently outdated basement floor of Beacon Tower, an iconic high-rise building of the Bristol skyline, with their recognisable interior including an industrial style mezzanine floor, feature stair chandelier, local street art, diverse material palette, and dynamic lighting.
Careful consideration has been given to this unique floor plan to create theatrical spaces for exercise and moments of drama for members who can move with ease through zones such as a juice bar, cardio zone, spin studio, functional area and a spray station.
Luxe fitness aims to provide a luxury fitness experience from unique venues and spaces, while offering a welcoming and social atmosphere that is female friendly. It is not surprising they recently won ‘UK’s Best New Gym 2022’ at the National Fitness Awards.
We are so pleased to be working alongside Design Storey Architects to ensure this project is Building Regulations compliant, the unique floor plan means there are careful considerations that need to be made but with our early input these can be highlighted early to save time and money.
