Overview
This hotel Building Control project involved the refurbishment of a 155-bed Premier Inn hotel in Southampton West Quay, upgrading it to meet the latest brand standards. As part of the works, 32 rooms were fitted out to Premier Inn’s premium ‘Premier Plus’ specification. The full scope included a complete strip-out and refurbishment of all guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and the staircase.
Cook Brown Building Control was appointed to provide Building Control services throughout the fit-out period, supporting the successful delivery of a safe and compliant hotel refurbishment.

Hampton by Hilton, Blackpool
Client: Create Construction
We worked with Create Construction on the erection of a new Hampton by Hilton Hotel in Blackpool. The hotel is situated on Blackpool’s seafront a few steps away from the world-famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach, it comprises an impressive 130 bedrooms, fitness room, restaurant and bar and as business work zone.
Great Western House, Taunton

YMCA Dulverton Group have brought the Great Western Hotel in Taunton back to life with a full renovation. We were appointed by Alium Group to provide Building Control services on the strip out and internal alterations to the existing building to create a 15 bed hotel, meeting rooms, bar and café area and flexible office space
