My work background:
My career began in local government as a Trainee on the South Coast and later with invaluable experience gained at Canary Wharf on High-Rise Buildings and rural Herefordshire with Timber Frame Buildings. I have worked in the private industry as an Approved Inspector since 1985 predominately working on complex and High-Rise Buildings including the BBC Centre at White City, the Design Museum in Kensington High Street and Royal Wharf Towers in Docklands. I am actively involved strategically in the industry with forming and implementing the Hackitt Reforms, London Fire Brigade liaison and sit on Building Control complaints/audit panels with the Construction Industry Council.
About my role:
I work with a team providing Building Control and Compliance Consultancy Services to complex and specialised projects including Mixed-Use, Towers, Public Buildings and Governmental Buildings. My colleagues and I are highly experienced and qualified to provide the best possible service.
About me:
I have practised in both Public and Private Building Control environments for over thirty-five years including running companies and large teams of Surveyors. I have a ‘can do’ and pro-active attitude to business and always strive to do the best I can for my clients to ensure compliant safe buildings.
Random facts:
I am a keen but amateur gardener who enjoys reading, walking, and painting model soldiers.
