Swindon Town Football Club have recently opened the new Pavilion building for their Swindon Town FC Community Foundation. Designed by GCP Architects and built by Beard Construction, the £2.4 million two storey building provides a base for the Foundation Trust with offices and a boardroom, four new changing rooms to support the existing athletics track as well as a reception, cafe and large club room / event space with a commercial kitchen. Next to the new building is a new floodlit all weather pitch. The new clubhouse will support the Foundation Trust in their work to offer grass roots sports coaching and activities to the borough of Swindon and the surrounding counties, creating sporting opportunities for as wide a cross-section of people as possible.
