Renny’s Lane, Durham

We were appointed to provide Building Control services for the construction of a major new student accommodation development at Renny’s Lane in Durham, delivering modern residential facilities for the city’s growing student population.

The development comprised 362 student bedrooms together with a range of communal and amenity spaces designed to enhance the student living experience. The expansive scheme included a private on site cinema, fitness studio, residents lounge, secure electric fob access and CCTV systems, creating a high quality and secure living environment for residents.

Working closely with the wider design and construction team throughout the build process, we supported the project through all stages of construction and assisted with compliance across the development.

The completed scheme forms part of a wider regeneration initiative within Durham, helping to deliver premium student accommodation while contributing to the continued redevelopment and investment within the area. We were pleased to be involved in another significant regeneration project that has created modern and well equipped accommodation for students studying in Durham.
