New Century Place 1 & 2, Reading

We were appointed to provide Building Regulations services for the conversion of two existing office buildings at New Century Place in Reading into high quality purpose built student accommodation.

The scheme involved the transformation of the buildings to create 135 modern student accommodation units, delivering contemporary living spaces designed to support both student wellbeing and day to day campus life. In addition to the residential accommodation, the development incorporated a range of high specification communal facilities, including a private fitness suite, residents club lounge, dinner party room and dedicated quiet study areas.

Working closely with the wider project team, we supported the successful delivery of the conversion works and assisted with compliance throughout all stages of the development.

Following the completion of the initial phase, our Building Control team were appointed on a further phase of the development involving the construction of a new five storey building providing an additional 135 student accommodation units.

Together, the developments have contributed to the growing provision of modern student living accommodation within Reading, delivering high quality residential and communal spaces tailored to the needs of students.
