We have a successful working relationship with our inspirational office designer client, Morgan Lovell, who have an impressive portfolio of projects, including this category B office fit out for the enterprise software firm, R3 – a global company delivering purpose-built distributed ledger technology for all types of businesses in all industries.
This office is R3’s UK headquarters and is situated in the City of London on London Wall Place. The workplace started on a single floor and has since grown to cover three floors housing 300 people.
We were appointed to undertake Building Control services on the fit-out to the 10th floor including the accommodation stair to the 11th floor and minor alterations to the 11th and 12th floors. We produced detailed plan assessment reports, undertook statutory consultations, and carried out site inspections at the relevant stages of the project.
Due to their rapidly growing team, R3 were looking to expand their existing office space over an additional floor within the same building whilst keeping the flow of the stylish interior design. With the help of Marianne Paulsen of Gather Research and Design, the completed workspace promotes an inspiring and exciting, yet functional space for employees to thrive. There is not just a great view on the inside of the office, as well as the innovative interior, each floor also benefits from fantastic views across London.
