Innovation Centre, Marlborough College

We were appointed by Marlborough College to provide full Building Control Services on the construction of the new Innovation Centre located within the college campus. The project involved the development of a contemporary two storey teaching facility designed to provide modern learning, collaboration and exhibition space for students and staff.

Extending across approximately 1,000m², the new building was created to support a range of educational activities, combining flexible teaching environments with dedicated exhibition and presentation areas. The facility has been designed with sustainability and long term environmental performance in mind, incorporating a thermally efficient building envelope, photovoltaic panels, natural ventilation systems, enhanced daylighting and measures to reduce water consumption throughout the building.

Working alongside the wider project team throughout the development, we carried out Building Control Services from the initial plan assessment stage through to site inspections during construction. The completed Innovation Centre has delivered a high quality educational space that complements the existing campus while providing students with a modern environment focused on creativity, innovation and learning.
