We were appointed by The Bush Consultancy Ltd as the Registered Building Control Approver for the construction of Aurora, a landmark Grade A office development located within the Finzels Reach regeneration area in the centre of Bristol.

Extending to approximately 95,000 sq. ft across seven storeys, the development has been designed to provide high quality contemporary office accommodation within one of Bristol’s most significant mixed use regeneration schemes. The building features a striking full height atrium that creates an open and welcoming internal environment, alongside a landscaped rooftop garden offering external amenity space and views across the city. The scheme also incorporates modern communal areas, flexible workspace and high specification finishes throughout.

The project formed part of the wider transformation of the Finzels Reach area, contributing to the continued redevelopment of the former industrial site into a thriving commercial and residential destination. Due to the scale and complexity of the building, careful consideration was required throughout the construction process in relation to fire safety, accessibility, structural elements and compliance with current Building Regulations.

Our role involved providing ongoing plans assessment services together with regular site inspections throughout the construction programme. Working closely with the wider project team, we supported the delivery of a high quality office development that now provides premium commercial space in a key central Bristol location.
