We are delighted to be involved in an exciting creative scheme that will rejuvenate an important historic area of Leeds City Centre.

We have been appointed as the Approved Inspector on an exciting regeneration scheme in centre of Leeds that will re-develop existing retail buildings to form a mixed-use development of retail units and residential apartments. The works also include a two-storey rear extension and a third-floor extension to three of the existing retail units.

Behind the stylish exterior is a building rich in history.  Lamberts House is widely regarded as the oldest building in Leeds City Centre dating back over 400 years. The building was originally built by wealthy grocers and tea dealers the Lambert family in around the 1600’s and is the last surviving triple-storey house in the centre of Leeds.

“I am thrilled to be involved on this local and important regeneration scheme for the city. It is great that such a historic building is being restored, preserved, and brought back to life. As a local to the city, I am excited on a personal level as well as a professional one to be able to work on this scheme and to see this space rejuvenated into a creative hub Leeds.”
